I also have recently trained and ran a 1/2 marathon, but not in this shoe. Although I tried it and it gave me shin splints, the perfect shoe for me was the MR1062. This is a much more cushioned shoe, both in the heel and the ball of the foot. My advice, if you are active at all,is to go to a NB concept store and get measured. Also, make sure they look at your foot to see how much stabilty and, or cushioning you need. Several weeks ago, I purchased the shoe as a replacement for the 826.<BR/><BR/>I've used the 903 in the Bay To Breakers 12K and a local 5K run here in San Francisco.
